Montgomery County Fees
Effective July 3, 2006, Montgomery County revised their fees. The fees differ depending on whether the address you are permitting is within Maryland National Capital Park and Planning Commission (MNCPPC) Site Plan Approval jurisdiction. You must call Montgomery County Zoning Department for a determination as to whether you fall within MNCPPC jurisdiction. The fees are as follows:

Filing Fees
Building Permit - Commercial
1. Application filing fee for alterations and repair, addition, or revision $740 + 10%
2. New construction - must obtain worksheet and formula from Director - permitting services
Building Permit
1. Based on cost of construction. Multiplier is $0.0261 x cost of construction + 10% (deduct filing fee from building permit fee)
Use & Occupancy Permit
1. Based on square footage - call us for fee amount
without MNCPPC
